August 2010 saw an agreement and partnership between Etihad Airways and the Australia-based Virgin Blue Australia, which enables customers/passengers to earn and air mileage points on either of the two airlines and also share airport lounge access rights. Further to this, Etihad customers can fly to 44 new destinations.
As part of Virgin Blue and Etihad’s co-share agreement, there would be a reciprocal share in technical support and staff exchange, therefore enhanced call centre functions and European linguistic skills were needed. Working in partnership with multi-lingual global contact solutions experts, Mindpearl, Tripudio has been selected to provide inbound call collection for its European route map.
